About Church Barn

Church Barn is a beautifully converted 300 year old barn situated in the centre of the pretty, historic village of Harberton, only 3 miles from Totnes in the South Hams. Featured in Inspirations magazine, the property was converted over 30 years ago and cleverly retains many of its original features, as well as adding a high degree of comfort and luxury.

Church Barn is ideally situated for anyone planning to enjoy the many attractions of the surrounding areas - including walking on Dartmoor and the South West Coastal path, visiting the ancient towns of Totnes, Dartmouth and Kingsbridge, cycling, sailing, taking in the theatre, cinema and cultural events at Dartington Hall, travelling on the steam trains from Totnes to Buckfastleigh, catching a boat along the River Dart, or relaxing over a glass or two of wine and a delicious lunch at Sharpham vineyard - not to mention popping up to Harberton's local pub, the Church House Inn, only two minutes walk away.

Accommodation

We offer a bright, beautifully decorated, luxurious double bedroom with an en suite shower room accessed via its own staircase.  One of the delightful features of the room is its unique arched window looking out over the pretty lychgate to the churchyard.  The beamed ceilings are painted in a soft fawn, adding to the lightness and warmth of the room.
